Rosco Gordon’s 1951 recording of ‘Booted’ was very influential in The West Indies where it inspired many early Ska / Bluebeat artists such as Prince Buster. Little Willie Littlefield’s great 1950 duet with Little Laura Wiggins is top class early jump blues!
All records in this section are mint & unplayed. Nearly all of our records are hard to find in this “as new” condition, most of them have been locked away in a specialised storage facility since the ROCK ON shop in Camden Town closed in 1996.

.This 45RPM single was released in 1987 to tie in with the then popular BBC comedy drama series Tutti Frutti, starring Robbie Coltrane as Jazza McGlone, lead singer in a legendary Scottish rock’n’Roll band,The Majestics. In addition to the original 1955 hit version of ‘Tutti Frutti’, this great single also includes 2 more Specialty label recordings by Little Richard, ‘I’ll Never Let You Go’ and a super -rare alternative take of ‘I Got It’. This version of ‘I Got It’ has only ever been available on vinyl on the now long deleted Little Richard Sessions box set.[ABOXLP 1].
