DOOTONES – Teller of Fortune / Ay Si Si

USA. 1978 The Dootones were a fairly short lived vocal group put together by the (later) hugely successful songwriter / arranger H.B. Barnum to record for Dootsie Williams’ Dootone Records in 1955. When first formed Barnum’s group still had no name, but as the label owner wanted a group named The Dootones on his label, it was decided that they were to be known as The Dootones.
